I think that's the end of the Legendary Heroes. I did have another Legendary Duck pledge backer but their Kickstarter pledge payment failed and they haven't replied to my emails... so I guess we're ready for production...
The final box of greens is on the wing, destined for England. There are a few extra surprises in that box for Chris Nicholls to assess (I will let you know about those soon). The Backerkit pledge manager (and preorder store) is going really well. Thanks to everyone who has dropped me a message of encouragement or requested bonus goodies.

Remember back when I showed you the first Pugbear (Update #26) and said there were more coming? You must've thought I was howling mad? Well I finally let the dogs out!
More dogs than you can shake a stick at!
The Pugbears (Macy Growler, Axl Ruff, T-Bone Walker and Kujo the Destroyer) are all available now as Add-Ons (and included in the Duck Inn and Legendary Duck pledges) on the Backerkit pledge manager and preorder store.

A New Legendary Duck!

In the closing hours of the Kickstarter campaign, one of the Legendary Duck pledge backers disappeared... but let me know he'd be back. I spent a few nights on this sculpt and I am really happy with his clean lines and flapping cloak. Here is Mikal's Legendary Duck character, Darktail!

The Last Few Miniatures
Currently I am sculpting the remaining Pugbears and finishing the final Legendary Hero, DaDark Lizard. I will post photos of these when they are complete. Then everything heads off to the casters, Chris Nicholls (Macrocosm Miniatures) and Chris Taylor (Lancaster Casting) for production.

DuckQuest on Backerkit: Pledge Manager Instructions

The DuckQuest Backerkit pledge manager is about to have a Smoke Test. That means a select few of you from each pledge level will receive an invite to the pledge manager as a test to see everything is working. This process may take a few days. Then the pledge manager will be open to all of you.
For those of you who want to upgrade their pledge level and get the best deal on the ducks, or move on up from the Lucky Duck pledge (Lucky Duck doesn't include miniatures) make sure you click on "or switch your pledge level »" which is a small text link just below the big green "Get Started" button.
The beginning of your pledge manager journey...
Once again, for Lucky Duck pledge backers, you will need to "switch your pledge level" pledge if you would like miniatures.
You cannot switch pledges after pressing "Get Started", so choose wisely.
What If I Miss That?
If you are a Lucky Duck pledge backer that wants miniatures and misses this step (it's easy to do), then don't worry. I have set up a question in the following step that will let you tell me which pledge you would like. I can then manually adjust your pledge level (as soon as possible). The same goes for any other backer level upgrades.
Credits for DuckQuest Fantasy Roleplay
After you push "Get Started!" there is an introduction to the pledge manager. Please write your name to be included in the credits for DuckQuest Fantasy Roleplay. It's another small thank you for your support of this campaign. If you don't want your name included, the just write "n/a" or something similar. :)
Navigating Backerkit
From then on, Backerkit is fairly easy to navigate. Your Kickstarter pledge rewards are already in your cart. You can then add additional items to your pledge, then it's onto shipping details and confirming payment. Just follow these four steps:

4. CONFIRM

How Can My Friends Preorder?

However, even though I have loaded the store with everything from the Kickstarter campaign, the Preorder Store doesn't include the original Kickstarter Pledge Level deals. I hope you are enjoying Ductober. Here is another Legendary Hero from the sculpting bench. Let me introduce Duck Lorange!
This character is a superhero from the Legendary Mike ’Epic Duck’ Cousins.
Duck Lorange has flown in from a distant star!
In the grim duck future of the 40th Mallardium, there is only... QUACK!
Lorange is free for Legendary and Duck Inn backers and will be available as an add-on. The pledge manager will be opening soon.
I have a few miniatures (a duck, a lizard and a few pugbears) to complete before sending the last box off to Chris Nicholls at Macrocosm for casting.
